Clorox Company Picnic

Saturday was JR's company picnic down in Tampa at Medard Park. Except for the fact that it stormed the whole time we had a great time (huddled under the shelter) Lucas, Jr, and i had funny caricatures made. Lucas slept almost the whole time so that means like mom and dad he sleeps well in a rainshower. jr and braiden brought their poles for a bit of fishing- no bites...I got a fake tattoo from the face painter, and who know maybe i will get a real one! We ate a ton of bbq, and snow cones, and to top it off we stopped at Starbucks on the way home and i had my favorite- a peppermint white mocha frap- yummm! Jr won a $100 gc for Outback where we went sunday w/ his mom and dad- it was soooo goood! I have been scrapping like a mad woman and almost have 2 albums full!! my pregnancy album, and lucas hospital album- yes i had enough from his 2 days at hospital to fill it up!

Thursday

my friend from work vicki is coming to visit after work, yipee!!! grownups!!! and she is bringing drinks! i better get to pumping so i can enjoy a few! lol. baby napping good today, usually during the day he is cranky and wants to be held, he is so wide awake all day because he sleeps good at night and i am not complaining! 2 weeks left till i go back to work. today i am trying to get ready for a yardsale this weekend (so i can spend more money on baby stuff lol) ha as i type he is getting fussy and crying in his swing. i spoke too soon. i am hoping to get him outside today to do some outdoor pics hopefully with he and i together as well as just him on a blankie in the shade. the dogs will appreciate some time outside i am sure! still a few thank you cards to get out and birth announcements, hard to believe little man will be 4 weeks old tomorrow!

SUPERMODEL BABY

Sunday I took Lucas to my friend Missy and her sister for his first photoshoot. nakey newborn pics! he is just over 3 weeks but looks older as he is so big and so alert. She did a phenomenal job on them and i cant wait to have them hanging all over! She has a bomb diggity camera but what she can do with it is amazing. She has no school for it yet she has an eye for it, somewhat taught by her also amazingly talented sister. She also did my maternity pics that i love.2 1/2 weeks left on the countdown until i go back to work, i could just cry i will hate to leave my little man! The dogs are doing awesome with the baby, Gretchen is gentle and stays away, fergie is not agressive, she is just a puppy and forgets if i am holding the baby that she cant run across him like she can do to Gretchen- she just needs to be taught puppy manners. I have actually been scrapping, in small spurts when little man lets me but this week i have done 2 -2 pagers and 3 1 pagers,feels good to get back into it especially when i have such a cute little subject!

First Dr Visit

Ok ok i am not doing very well keeping up on my blog because i already post everything on myspace and my allyscraps.com so.... it seems redundant to repost here but i really do prefer this "grownup" forum over myspace. so i will attempt to update everyday this week. i can do it for a week right? ok then. Well lucas had his first DR's appt since hospital last tuesday, he has already put on 2lbs since leaving hospital and gained 3/4 of an inch for a total of 9lbs 8oz 21 inches. he seems to be in great health. passed his hearing test this time, and hated his first shot but didnt cry but for a minute. He is growing and changing much too fast for momma. When awake he is very alert, and holds his neck up lots. Daddy has already promised when he turns 3 he can have his own wiener dog.lol . i dont know about that! i love holding him, and smelling him, and taking his pic. it is very hard to get anywhere with him though i have to make sure i feeed him right before we leave, pack his bag, get him and all his gear loaded ,get it all out put it in shopping cart, and keep him amused if he is awake. so right now i try to stay close to home.
